Welcome to the Department of Psychology Advising page! This website has been designed to serve as a resource for students, faculty, staff, and administrators at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Throughout this site you will find information that can help you navigate the Psychology major and the University. Look around as many of the questions you have may be answered here.
Our Undergraduate Advisors assist students in developing their intellectual potential, exploring educational opportunities and achieving life goals. Through the relationship established with an advisor, a students have the opportunity to learn about educational options, degree requirements, and academic policies and procedures; clarify educational objectives; plan and pursue programs consistent with abilities, interests, values, and life goals; and to use all resources of the University to their best advantage.
We strongly encourage frequent advisor contact as it provides students with current academic information and promotes progress toward educational goals.
